I was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Ever since I can remember, I have been fascinated by huge machines and megastructures. Residing within the IIT Bombay campus, I got excellent exposure to the same. The curiosity of understanding how things work, like clocks, remotes, and other domestic appliances that I periodically cracked open, gave my parents an easy selection of which engineering I must pursue. Surprise, Surprise, it was "mechanical". 
We didn't have much money growing up, so most of the toys I had were my sister's hand-me-downs. that ignited the spark of combining two to make something different. Gluing, screwing, and forcing pieces together to make a pretend fortress, car, or uncommon structure became an inspiration, and broken toys became my legos. once in a while I kept looking for a particular piece or something that fits. One day a thought changed the entirety, " the one who made those toys, could have any piece they want".
Evidently, by the time I had to choose, I was positive that I want to be the one who designs the pieces and not the one who puts them together. 
Half a decade later, here i am, proudly practicing Architecture.
