Q. Tell us a little bit about yourself.
A. I began my career freelancing for a few months. Since then I have worked with different studios/firms/companies as an architect. My experience in leading teams and managing projects and helped me grow a lot. Problem-solving, creating and implementing innovative solutions, technology consultation, assisting in defining scope and sizing of work, support identification, and pursuit processes are a number of the vital roles of my position as an Architect. I prefer to focus on sustainability, renewable energy, and a reduced ecological footprint to achieve a green future for the new generation.
Currently, I am working as the lead architect and report directly to the management including the executive and the managing director. During my time at the current organization, I have been recognized for my problem-solving skills, creativity, fast learning capabilities, and commitment to the work. My curiosity and appreciation for new technology always have me seeking out the latest techniques. Lastly, I am thorough with documentation and actively make/listen to suggestions for improvements and changes.
Q. What makes you unique?
A. I have always considered that the functionality of a design is important. During my academic year, aesthetics played a major role while presenting my work to the jury. While working in a well-established design studio for my professional training, elements like structure, MEP, and cost were always an issue in between the project's designing process. The lack of practicality raised a concern. That is why I decided to obtain as much practical knowledge as I can. What makes me unique is my experience in different disciplines. I have experience in architectural designing, interior designing, Municipal liasoning, structural stability design, MEP, and Landscape designing.
Q. What are your greatest strengths?
A. I’m a natural problem solver. I find it rewarding to dig deep and uncover solutions to challenges. It’s like solving a puzzle. It’s something I’ve always excelled at and something I enjoy.
